What we believe

  • Everything we create flows from the Good News of Jesus and the truth of God’s Word.
  • We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is loving, gracious and sovereign – the creator of all things, the one who sustains, rules, redeems, and judges the world. The Bible, made up of the Old and New Testaments, is God’s fully trustworthy Word and speaks with final authority.
  • We believe every person is made in God’s image, created to love Him, reflect His holiness, and care for His world. But all of us have been corrupted by sin and face His just wrath and judgment. In His mercy, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, truly God and truly human, who lived without sin, died in our place, and rose to bring forgiveness, defeat evil, and reconcile us to God.
  • We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Through the Holy Spirit, we are made new, united with Christ, empowered to follow Him, and equipped to witness.
  • We believe the church is the body of Christ, made up of all who belong to Him, called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, and promote His justice and love. One day, Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead, bringing eternal life to those who trust in Him and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establishing a new heaven and a new earth.
  • This summary of beliefs reflect the Basis of Faith of the Evangelical Alliance.
